We’re ALL Tellurians – so let’s live in peace!

Heal EarthIt’s difficult to calculate just how many people have been brutally slain throughout human history by tyrannical wars & conflicts, religious wars & conflicts, genocide, multicide, terrorism, drug & alcohol wars, corruption, sexual deviancy, racism, anti-semitism, homophobia, xenophobia, and on and on, but the number of people murdered surely must total hundreds of millions. (if you’d like to try and total it up, try these websites to help you: http://necrometrics.com/index.htm, http://necrometrics.com/warstatx.htm).

Holocaust Bodies
Hundreds of millions of men, women, and children, who were probably filled with the most intense fear before their precious lives, and future, were taken away from them so brutally and so prematurely. Just how could one person’s hatred be so extreme to be able to take the life of another in the blink of an eye and without any remorse whatsoever? How dare ANYONE take the life away from someone’s son, daughter, father, mother, grandfather, grandmother? How dare you.

Carl SaganIn his book, Pale Blue Dot: A Vision of the Human Future in Space”, Carl Sagan writes about the famous photograph taken of Earth in 1990 by the Voyager 1 spaceprobe, from a distance in Space of 3.7 billion miles. The Earth looks like a ‘pale blue dot’ and is shown as a fraction of a pixel (0.12 pixel in size) against the vastness of space.

Pale Blue Dot PicSagan states: “Look again at that dot. That’s here. That’s home. That’s us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every “superstar,” every “supreme leader,” every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there-on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.”

beautiful earthZoom into the pale blue dot and we see a planet of immense beauty – yes, that’s our beautiful home! But, as the human species evolved throughout the centuries on the ‘beautiful’ planet Earth, inhabiting continents and countries, and into communities, we also segregated into tribes, cultures and religions. This ‘segregation’ includes our speciesist doctrine (‘the belief of humans that all other species of animals are inferior and may therefore be used for human benefit without regard to the suffering inflicted‘} as we systematically murder over 150 BILLION land and sea animals every year just to satisfy our taste buds, to wear as ‘fashion’, and for ritual sacrifice.

SegregationIt’s now the 21st century, so why can’t we learn from our murderous past that segregation of any kind is divisive and breeds hatred and murderers.

Look again at the pale blue dot. As insignificant as it looks in the vastness of outer space, that’s EVERYONE’S home. Not just yours, not just mine – EVERYONE’S! And that makes us all Tellurians(inhabitants of Earth) including all animals! So, if we’re all inhabitants of this insignificant pale blue dot, why can’t we just try to live as equals and integrate with each other as one big ‘Tellurian’ family?

Animal SacrificePlease do not let ANY of the hundreds of millions of men, women, and children, (and countless billions of animals) who have been murdered throughout the ages, and still are today, to have died in vain. Not a single one. Their lives were just as precious and important to them, and to their families, as our lives are precious and important to us, and to our families. They were, and are being, ‘sacrificed’ for us all and we must now raise our voices to help create a planet of peace, harmony, love, and tolerance, for all fellow Tellurians, in their memory.

Life’s too short as it is (very short indeed for the millions of people unfortunate enough to be born in areas of war and conflict), so let’s move forward with hope and positivity.

children harmonyHelp spread the message of The Peaceful Planet by creating a global movement based on our 5 key principles which we feel can help to build a global community of peace, harmony, love, and tolerance.
